Woman at the Well in Action

The Woman at the Well Ministry is celebrating 8 years of being in the Lord's service:
Since the earlier part of 2008, a time of "New Beginnings was heralded. Every where the people of God (those with an ear to hear what the Spirit is saying) were proclaiming a "paradigm shift". Part of that shift was the creation of Woman at the Well Ministry (W.A.T.W) in Waldorf, Maryland under the leadership of Rev. Isoke Mims. Evangelical in nature, the ministry has reached out to help those in need near and far. Each year has been forged in faith and walked in humility as God carries out His purpose for this particular work.
W.A.T.W has been at the forefront of noising abroad the "Kingdom's Agenda" and leads by example. Each year through charitable outreach as well as purposeful ministry programs the message that the Kingdom of God is at hand is shared . Soul winning is the heart of the ministry and time is the stimulus.
This year at the annual "Stronger, Together, Better Conference the topic is "The Parable of the Sower". This is a subject that has widely preached but not understood. This year we hope to unlock this parable and make it relevant to all who attend. Our Savior spoke of 4 different types of soil. There was at the center of the story the Sower but not much is directly said about Him. However, there is an in depth look at the soil the seed fell on. Some fell by the wayside, some on stony ground, some fell into thorns, while the rest fell on good ground. The seeds are the Word of God and the soil represents the condition of the heart when the Word is preached...how the HEART receives the Word... this is our focus. More info to follow as well as clips from the services. Be blessed...and remember...
Our mission is global while our focus is specific... bringing the water of life to those who thirst!
